JHS members and their guests enjoy field trips throughout the year. to wonderful programs such as the St. Augustine Alligator Farm, Orianne Center for Indigo Conservation, Reptile Discovery Center, Ashton Biological Preserve, and more. Often we are afforded special behind-the-scenes tours that are not accessible to the public.
JHS members are committed to promoting education and conservation through our volunteer program. Our efforts have benefitted programs such as the Turtle Survival Alliance, Rattlesnake Conservancy, and the Orianne Center. We also volunteer at MOSH in Jacksonville.
